A committee of community volunteers, "Play for All,
Inc.", Barb Baker, President, has
committed its
efforts to create a park that is accessible to people of all abilities at
the
Godfrey Park
site at the corner of Greenwood and Hardin Avenue.
Old equipment was removed with the assistance of UPS employees and family
members, who donated $5,000 to the project. Sunrise Rotary members also
attended
and donated an additional $7,500.
Donations are being accepted as the project is
not yet fully funded.
