Information for Village of South Jacksonville Residents
FREE STORM CLEANUP

1.  Limbs and branches will be picked up Free if left at the curb (ditches are OK).  Limbs should be no longer than 8-10 feet.

2.  Do NOT put debris in the street.
 
3.  Village employees will NOT come onto private property to pick up limbs or branches—curbside pickup ONLY.
 
4.   Emergency Clean-Up assistance for elderly/disabled is available from the
Salvation Army (245-7124) or by calling ESDA (479-4616). Volunteer clean-up crews are scheduled through these offices to assist ONLY residents who are elderly,  disabled, or unable to afford to contract for cleanup.
 
5.  There is no scheduled route and debris may not be picked up for several weeks.
 
6.   If you don’t have your limbs out the first time crews clean your area, they will be back.

7.  If you hire a contractor for clean-up, they should
not charge you for removal of debris, they should leave it at the curb and the Village will pick it up curbside free of   charge.
